  • ensuring that the URL (path to your website) appears in the generated lists for ALL the "categories" and "search results" to which it is relevant,
  • being as close as possible to the TOP of the most relevant lists by rankings,
  • attracting attention with the  WORD CONTENT of your listing.

To improve your traffic here are some tips on filling out the findRex.com submission form.
  • Capitalize the first letters in the main words of your domain name; but do NOT capitalize any other words or letters which are not part of the domain name.  For example: www.ClevelandTable.com is good; while www.CLEVELANDTABLE.com will work but is not as good.
  • List from left to right, in the sequence of relevance, several -- but not too many -- words and short phrases that summarize the subject of your website.Too many words and phrases will confuse and dissolve the relational clarity of your submission.  Grammar: (a) Use underscore "_" to connect words into specific phrases - as in "kitchen_table - , (b) commas with no spaces to separate words and phrases, and (c) add braces { ..... } around one or two keywords to be used as main categories. (Only the first two will be processed, others ignored).
Example:
         url: www.ClevelandTable.com
         keywords and phrases: {furniture} table,chair,oak,buffet,custom_design
is good and would do significantly better than
       url:www.clevelandtable.com
       keywords:{furniture}{table}{chair} oak,buffet,custom design

The third brace with the word "chair" would be disregarded, the added spaces around the commas lead to a downgrade of the score, and the missing underscore between the words "custom" and "design" score lower for the phrase.

To make it even better, follow these additional tips.
  • Use auxillary support words, like "quality" sparingly, and do NOT include weakly related words or  phrases.  Weakly related words and phrases also cause the  specific relevance rankings to be weakened, lowering the score of your listing. 
  • Avoid the use of plurals and past tenses in submission keywords and phrases. With millions of keywords and phrases, the plurals and past tenses slow the search process and reduce the search clarity.
  • Avoid the use of keywords and phrases common to pornography sites. It is a policy of findRex.com to not list pornographic sites. A number of keywords and phrases common to such sites will trigger an automatic delisting, while in marginal case the findRex.com software will highlight a URL for a visual review. The  trigger words and phrases are based on common sense and industry practise, but unfortunately we can not give them out. Help us. If you find a pronography site, please report it to us for delisting.)
If there is a mistake in your submission, your site may unfortunately not be listed, and you may or may not be notified. But please feel free to try again. Want to change your listing - just resubmit. Registered users get 24-48 hours turn around. Free submissions may take at least a year; a good reason for us to do it for it, see below.
